Mandy's Story
After school, I attended BGSU/Firelands and lived in Bowling Green, Huron then back to Sandusky. I lived the single life for a while & drove the 'rents nuts w/ "just stopping by" (always at dinnertime)!
Met my husband Brian ('84 Perkins grad) twice...1st time was on a blind date, which at the time didn't impress either one of us! The 2nd time (10 years later) was pretty funny because we didn't really remember our 1st date - but we DEFINITELY remembered each other that time! We married in May 2000, enjoyed newlywed life for about 2 years, became the parents of a Yorkie (Sammy), then began working on our "official" family.
Our 1st child, daughter Noel Catherine, was stillborn on Dec. 4, 2002. I was about 3 weeks away from her due date when we found that she had passed on. As anyone who has experienced such a loss knows, it was devastating to both us and our families - and also impacted our ...Expand for more

On Sept. 8, 2004, we were blessed with the birth of our son Tanner James. His pregnancy had a few "glitches", but he is perfect! He is a typical 3-year (who I feel is pretty darn good looking-don't you just LOVE his blue eyes?). We consider ourselves so very fortunate to be able to be parents & are hoping that we will be lucky enough for at least 1 more to complete our family.
My work history consists of CP (5 years during high school & college!), retail management, banking/accounting, & now the educational field. In my Personnel area, I work with our teachers/staff on their licenses & professional development, along with processing in new staff members, district superintendent search services, etc.
